We are situated at Carrington Lane Methodist Church on Ennerdale Drive, Sale, Cheshire which has easy access from the main road, providing a car park to the side of the building. We have operated in the Sale area for the last 23 years.

We have four bright, spacious and stimulating rooms for the age group’s 0-2’s and 2-5 years.

All our staff are appointed following a vigorous and careful selection process in accordance with Ofsted requirements, which includes obtaining a DBS enhanced check and references. We employ a nursery Manager who is super-numeracy to staffing ratios, a floor manager and have nursery nurses in each room. All our staff are encouraged to continue training by attending regular courses and all hold an up to date paediatric first aid, basic food hygiene and safeguarding certificates.

We have a highly qualified team of practitioners. Helen the nursery manager is a qualified teacher along with a BA HONS in Early Childhood studies, MA in Education, FDA as a Early Years Senior practitioners and specialists in mental health for adults and children.

Strengths of our practitioners vary, they hold various accredited qualifications such as NVQ (levels 2 & 3), NNEB, CACHE (level 3), BA Hons, BTEC. We encourage staff to continue learning, to develop and update their skills by supporting them through training attending a variety of child care courses.

We currently provide care for children placed by the local authority, SENAS, TEDS  aswell as providing places for families entitled to funded education for 2, 3 and 4 year old children. Aswell as this we run full private daycare and morning/afternoon sessions aswell as specialist hours to accommodate your families needs. We have fantastic network links with the  local authority to ensure that the care provided is suitable to all of the children and that all children are meeting their developmental milestones.

We have taken part in a project with Early Excellence based entirely on 2 year old children and the best practice for providing care for them specifically. Our continuous provision has been adapted already as new resources were provided as part of this project; this has enhanced other areas of the nursery.

We work on fundraising projects inviting the local community into the setting and giving parents more chance to become involved in the setting.

We are currently working as part of the Trafford Quality Assurance process, showing our commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement.
